Beauty of the Talking Twins

I am the proud mother of three boys, two of which are twins. All siblings have a special connection (and sometimes special brawls), but twins have an extra connection that is hard to describe. When I think back to the days my twins were babies, there were many special moments that they communicated to each other in their own secret language. I could even call it babble with meaning.

The other day a friend, who knows I have twins, sent me a link to the new viral sensation: Talking Twins taken by Twinmamarama (hat tip to SFGate for helping me figure out who the brillant mama who took the video is).

My family and I have enjoyed playing Rovio's Angry Birds app for some time. I was excited to hear that another version is out - inspired by the new movie "Rio" that hits the theatre's April 15th. Angry Birds Rio is available on the new Amazon App store for Android and on Apple’s iTunes. Here is the official synposis about the new Angry Birds Rio game:

"In Angry Birds Rio, the original Angry Birds are kidnapped and taken to the magical city of Rio, where they eventually escape their captors and set out to save their friends, Blu and Jewel – two rare macaws and the stars of the. Angry Birds Rio will launch with 60 dedicated levels, with more content to follow via app updates."

First of April - My Favorite Things

Today is April 1st and here are my favorite links of the day:

Think Geek finally has a tee shirt about the computer overlords, edible gummy iPhone case, Angry Birds Pork Rinds and De-3D glasses. I know Cool Mom Tech agreed with the good finds at Think Geek.

Cool Mom Tech also covered Smart Starterz - learning language in the Womb (darn, why didn't I do that?).

@JeffElder found a data dock that is also a toaster!

Finally - Google Motion (motion controlled email) is in beta and ready to goooo (as in jump around instead of typing).

And best yet, now my kids can pretend to wait in line at the Apple Store with this Playmobile Apple Store:
