My family and I have enjoyed playing Rovio's Angry Birds app for some time. I was excited to hear that another version is out - inspired by the new movie "Rio" that hits the theatre's April 15th. Angry Birds Rio is available on the new Amazon App store for Android and on Apple’s iTunes. Here is the official synposis about the new Angry Birds Rio game:

"In Angry Birds Rio, the original Angry Birds are kidnapped and taken to the magical city of Rio, where they eventually escape their captors and set out to save their friends, Blu and Jewel – two rare macaws and the stars of the. Angry Birds Rio will launch with 60 dedicated levels, with more content to follow via app updates."

Here is the official synopsis for the movie "Rio" (From the creators of the  ICE AGE motion picture franchise) -  for those that like details before they head to the movie:

"From the makers of the hit ICE AGE series comes RIO, a comedy adventure about taking a walk on the wild side.  Blu is a domesticated Macaw who never learned to fly, living a comfortable life with his owner and best friend Linda in the small town of Moose Lake, Minnesota.  Blu and Linda think he’s the last of his kind, but when they learn about another Macaw who lives in Rio de Janeiro, they head to the faraway and exotic land to find Jewel, Blu’s female counterpart. 

Not long after they arrive, Blu and Jewel are kidnapped by a group of bungling animal smugglers.  With the help of street smart Jewel, and a group of wise-cracking and smooth-talking city birds, Blu escapes.  Now, with his new friends by his side, Blu will have to find the courage to learn to fly, thwart the kidnappers who are hot on their trail, and return to Linda, the best friend a bird ever had."

I've been worried too much about getting 3 stars on each level - I've only made it through about 20 levels in several months.

Still aiming to get to next higher levels. But I'm still at level 10.

We've made it through all the levels on regular, almost all on Seasons, and all on Rio. Spending a week in a hospital waiting room gives you plenty of time to figure it out. This is the best game ever.
