Mother's Day Giveaway: Two HP All-in-One Printers

Susan Bearman  http://2kop.blogspot.com/ WINS the HP OfficejetPro 8500 Premier All-in-One

Mocha Mama http://mochamommyonthego.wordpress.com/about/ WINS the HP Photosmart C8180 All-in-One

For Mother's Day, I always ask my husband for practical gifts and something non-practical but fun (like a new pair of earrings). From my kids, I ask for something home made. This year to cut costs I am just asking for practical gifts. All-in-one printers are tops on my list of practical gifts for moms.

My motto is "every mom is a work at home mom" because every mom (and family) needs access to a multifunctional printer at home for many different tasks. What I like about the All-in-one's are that they save space and time by offering scanning, printing and faxing in one gadget. Every day I find myself printing out my one of my son's homework, craft projects and printing/scanning documents for my own business, school volunteer or home tasks.

When I received the offer from HP to giveaway two of their All-in-one printers to my readers, I thought the timing was perfect (just before Mother's day). HP is merely the prize provider, I put together the following giveaway in honor of Mother's Day.

Please choose which prize package (1 or 2)  you are entering for the giveaway and comment with what functionality about that particular printer would be useful. Winners will be randomly chosen using Random.org. Anyone who Twitter's the contest will get another entry into Random.org. Hashtag is #TechmamaHPMomDay  TinyURL is http://tinyurl.com/d5wamd

  • HP is merely the prize provider.

I'd love to win prize 2. This prize looks great for all the crafts i do. Thanks so much for the chance to win

Prize 1 looks great. I love the ability to get all of the various options out of a single unit.

The HP Photosmart C8180 All-in-One would be perfect as a replacement for my ancient HP that is in my clutered beyond belief home ofice.

I could sit on the porch and work on my laptop and wirelessly print . . . heaven!

I couldn't decide on which until I saw Package 1 had wireless capabilities. I do a lot of printing for work and love that it can hold 250 sheets!

I would love to have Prize Number 2, the HP Photosmart C8180 All-in-One! We are a homeschooling family and take a lot of photographs... this printer would definately fit our needs! At 34 pages per minute and photo lab quality, I'll never need to run to the photo store again!!!

Gotta go with prize package 2--love the photo printing capabilities--that is what I would use the most.

I really, really want #2 for my mom. She lives 1500 miles away, so I email her LOTS of photos. Right now, she prints them on copy paper, so an HP photo system would rock her world!

I would LOVE package #1. I am about to apply to (and hopefully get into) school for nurse midwifery, and will need the printer for my classes. Tweeted it too: http://twitter.com/MochaMommy4Real

Ooh, #2 looks fantastic! I just did my preschool memory book pages and had to ask a friend to print them out for me, because my printer is so lame!

My Mother would love Package #1. She would have a field day with this printer!

What a great prize package, thank you. I would like the Package #1. I like that it can be used both wired and wireless and having a fax would be useful.

The printer looks like an updated version of one I used to use at work, and it was a very good printer. The output was good and it was also very good on ink.

I like prize package 1. The sheet feeder would save a lot of time when scanning things, like magazine articles or multipage bills. This would help a lot.

like prize #2 / love the photo print option !!!

Prize package # 2: I would like to resume working on scrapbooking and family history and the photo print feature is what I need. (That and the proverbial "round tuit")

I'd love to win #1. I need all of the options out here in the country. Otherwise it is a long drive to get copies and faxes accomplished. :)

I would have to go with package 1. This would come in handy for my freelancing and hubby's job as well. Thanks.

My favorite is Prize 2! I actually have a photosmart (which I love) - but I am impressed this new model can write to DVD! Outstanding!

#1 - our printers are currently tethered to PCs (one ea.); the wireless would allow the kids to skip the sneaker-net for their printouts.
