Do I Want To Know What Products My Facebook Friends Talk About?

After reading so much about Facebook's social ads, I wondered what my feelings would be. Do I want to know that my friends are talking about Christian Louboutin shoes? Maybe - depending on the friend.... I do feel that my use of Facebook is free so I don't mind some ads in exchange. But I will mind getting shoe advice from the wrong friend. Maybe Facebook should let you choose which friends you get social ads from. So I don't get shoe advice from someone who has no idea what Manolo Blahnik is or jeans advice from a friend who wears "mom jeans".
