Women Tech Innovators: Executives At Google And Now Facebook

I included Kara Swisher's recommendation for the number 2 executive at Facebook in my list of women innovators. Now one of her recommendations is now working at Facebook and other women executives at Google were highlighted in Marie Claire magazine. Last week I had the honor of attending a Women's Tech Leadership program at Google organized by the Anita Borg Institute (another women's leadership innovator). I will be posting about that event by the end of this week, but for now I am proud to see women executives highlighted in news:

FACEBOOK COO - Sheryl Sandberg: She is a mom with two small children, past vice president, Global Online Sales and Operations of Google and now the COO of Facebook. Boy, I would like to hear some family management tips from her!

WOMEN AT GOOGLE:

Marie Claire took a snazy picture and wrote an accompanying article about key women executives at Google (And they got to wear Manholo Blahniks!).  I am always inspired to read about successful women executives in top technical companies - but at Google they even have free food and a cool volleyball court. Oh, and Diane von Furstenberg came to visit (just one of my favorite dress designers). Seriously, it is inspiring to read about these women - and they are great role models for young girl geeks to be.
